DESCRIPTION:This retreat is designed to strengthen the parent/child relationship through sharing fun\, outdoor educational and recreational experiences together. \n\n\nExperiences include our astronomy room\, exploring our nature center and wildlife sanctuary\, whizzing down our zip-line\, reaching the top of our Victory Climbing Wall\, evening bonfires\, wilderness hayrides\, confidence and team building activities\, and more. \n\n\nOur “Parent: Child” retreat will also include an Astronomy Room Movie Night for the kids while parents enjoy a special guest speaker and networking opportunity. \n\n\nA parent is required to accompany their child and are encouraged to participate in each activity.

DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the “Building Confidence and Employment Skills Together” program is to serve individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities through specific training and educational programs that will focus on basic employment skills. The soft skills learned with hands on education will help to prepare individuals for job opportunities in their communities. \n\nThe Building Confidence retreat is focused on learning employment skills\, team building skills\, and goal setting. The retreat will include 4 hours of learning per day\, including 1 hands on activity in the morning & 2 hours of lecture\, followed by 1 camp activity to end each day.
