Building Confidence & Employment Skills Together

The purpose of the “Building Confidence and Employment Skills Together” program is to serve developmental and cognitively disabled through specific training and educational programs that will focus on basic employment skills.

Individuals will work on motivation, stamina, quality, soft skills, speed, following routines, and commitment. The skills learned with hands on education will help to prepare individuals for job opportunities in their communities. There are two phases to this program Skills 101 Course, and Skills Training.

Skills 101 Course:
This course is designed to teach people the soft skills needed to get a job out in the communities. This course is interactive using group discussions, activities, and challenges to explore a range of topics including professional greetings, first impressions, appearance, communication, teamwork, problem solving, punctuality and so much more! 

Skills Training:
This course is designed to teach people the hard skills needed in the workplace. This will teach the process of applying and interviewing for a job, following routines, quality and speed of tasks given, and so much more!
