School Groups

During the month of May, we provide local area schools the opportunity to attend field trips at Confidence Learning Center.

During the field trips, students learn about outdoor education that and recreation activities to challenge their self-esteem, teamwork, and self-confidence skills. Activities include nature hikes, basic animal care, archery, rock wall climbing, the confidence obstacle course, and more.

“Camp Confidence has helped me in so many ways!! I moved to Brainerd five years ago and I did not know anyone! I am a very social guy and friends are one of the most important things in my life! I started attending camp events and had the opportunity to meet new people. In fact now I have two very close friends that I met at Camp Confidence!!  Camp Confidence has also given me the opportunity to speak with elementary age children about my disability! I am passionate about sharing my life experiences with people! I love to talk and I feel it is important to teach people about what it is like to live with autism. Thank you, Camp Confidence, for all you do to enrich the lives of people with disabilities!!”
