Camp Journey

2024 Date TBA

Camp Journey is a grief and loss camp for children and teens to be companioned after experiencing the death of someone they love hosted at Confidence Learning Center during a weekend in May.

During this weekend, Camp Journey provides an inclusive environment for children ages 7-18 where they can find emotional support, learn grief and coping skills, and participate in a wide variety of camp activities. Activities include crafts, indoor and outdoor games, fishing, animal sanctuary, campfire, archery & grief specific activities including Q&A sessions with Funeral Director, Doctor, Pastor, and learning about grief and mourning coping skills.

“I love taking my clients to the activities that the Confidence Learning Center have available and the cabins they rent out are nice and clean. So many things for people to do! They work with adults, children and families that have disabilities both physical and mental diminished capacity. I feel the attention, help and involvement the staff give is awesome! They also do fund raising activities that helps run the facility! Truly a beautiful place and people! They have now started a Lions Club here! Hoping for great things from adding the club!”
