Rendezvous are designed to promote outdoor recreation for the local Community.
Rendezvous are every second Thursday from 5-7:30 at Confidence Learning Center. Subscribe to our email list and follow our social media pages to be the first to know about upcoming dates!

Rendezvous 2025
Confidence Learning Center Rendezvous programs provide an opportunity to add a healthy component to all people’s lives regardless of ability or limitations. Each monthly Rendezvous will provide a social, educational, physical, and recreational opportunity for persons with cognitive and developmental disabilities. Rendezvous programs are set up to go at your own pace. Our activities can accommodate different weather conditions to a rain alternative.
What You Need to Know About Rendezvous
- Space and supplies will be reserved for registered participants.
- Make sure to dress for the weather conditions of the Rendezvous date
- Time: 5:00pm-5:30pm Social time to bring your dinner if you wish
- 5:30pm Activities begin
- Cost $3.00 per person (including staff)
- Must RSVP (218)-828-2344 by Monday prior to Rendezvous
- Please call with your mailing address to get on a monthly Rendezvous reminder mailing.

Current Dates for Rendezvous 2025
January 9th (Thurs): Movie Night
Bring your blankets and snacks for a fun movie night in the Great Hall. Popcorn will be available! The movie playing is to be announced
February 6th (Thurs): Tiki Tubing
Embrace the cold while reminiscing about the warmer weather. Enjoy snow tubing, a bonfire, hayride shuttles, and more – all while dressed in your best Hawaiian clothes!
March 13th (Thurs): Snowshoe Sensational
Grab your friends and snowshoe with them around Camp! There will be varying levels of trails to choose from and a bonfire to keep warm.
April 10th (Thurs): Maple April
Come tap trees, learn how maple sugar syrup is made, and even take home your own jar of it!
May 8th (Thurs):Mixed Bag
We want you to enjoy a variety of activities that we have at camp, and to experience it with friends. Activities will be announced closer to the date.
June 5th (Thurs): Adventure Night
Enjoy an evening of some of our more adventurous activities. Try our zipline, climbing wall, and confidence course, or if you just want to hangout with friends there will be games in the rec field.
July 10th (Thurs) Beach Bash
Enjoy an evening at the beach with swimming, kayaking, peddle boating, paddle boarding, boat rides, and more!
August 14th (Thurs): End of Summer Carnival & Wiffleball
Celebrate the end of an amazing summer and say goodbye to our summer staff at the carnival and our annual wiffleball game!
September 8th & 11th: A Fishing Face-off
A friendly, low stakes fishing tournament just for fun! Gear will be provided or bring your own.

October 6th & 9th: Harvest Hike
Join us at camp for a beautiful hayride through the back woods to see the fall colors, and festive activities to enjoy the season.
November 13th (Thurs): Craftopia
Make handmade, DIY crafts for the holiday season. Keep them for yourselves, or gift them to a loved one!
December 11th (Thurs): Holiday Party
It’s party time! Join us for a holiday celebration filled with a sleigh ride, Santa, hot cocoa, and more.
“I love taking my clients to the activities that the Confidence Learning Center have available and the cabins they rent out are nice and clean. So many things for people to do! They work with adults, children and families that have disabilities both physical and mental diminished capacity. I feel the attention, help and involvement the staff give is awesome! They also do fund raising activities that helps run the facility! Truly a beautiful place and people! They have now started a Lions Club here! Hoping for great things from adding the club!”
